Kande Vihara ist ein bedeutender buddhistischer Tempel im Distrikt Kalutara welcher im Jahr 1734 erbaut wurde und seit dem ein regionales buddhistisches Zentrum ist.\u00a0<\/span>Dieser Tempel wurde auf einem H\u00fcgel gebaut, daher auch sein Name ,,Kande Viharaya\u2018\u2018.\u00a0<\/span>Er beherbergt eine der gr\u00f6\u00dften Buddha-Statuen der Welt, die in der j\u00fcngsten Vergangenheit errichtet wurde und weithin sichtbar ist.\u00a0<\/span>Unter dieser Statue befindet sich ein Geb\u00e4ude voller Bilder, die die Geschichte von Jathaka und Ereignisse im Zusammenhang mit dem Leben von Lord Buddha erz\u00e4hlen.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>
